Most of the materials and parts required can usually be obtained locally.
The Bridge/Pickup system is the most critical component. I have modified the plans to suit my new Transducer Module, however, the plans can still be used to build a violin with a Transducer Bridge supplied by any manufacturer. The Transducer Module is designed to work with a standard 4/4 size violin bridge.
The plans are
fully dimensioned (Metric and Imperial), full size, drawn on A3 sheets
and annotated to assist you in the construction process. Additional
notes are also supplied.
