G'day, and welcome. I'm a 'true blue' Aussie. I was born in North Queensland and now reside in Logan City on the Southern border of the City of Brisbane. I am a Manual Arts Teacher by profession and a builder and repairer of Musical Instruments.

I built my first instrument in 1986 - a Bluegrass Mandolin. I had no previous experience but managed to produce a very good instrument with the aid of Roger Siminoff's book "Constructing A Bluegrass Mandolin."

I have since built a number of instruments including Violins, Bluegrass Mandolins, Electric Violins and Guitars. I have also built a Bouzouki and a Ukulele and carried out countless repairs.

In more recent times I have developed and released my own brand of Pickups for Violin and Cello. These "WEDGE" Pickups are gaining recognition both locally and Overseas as are the plans I produce for making my King Brown Electric Violins.

I am a Member of the Australian Association of Musical Instrument Makers.
